Fixtures for Sunday 9th May 2010

09:00am Accrington Stanley Football Club opens

10:00am U9/U10 fixtures 8 v 8 on half a pitch using mini goals with 20 mins each way

11:00am U11 fixture 11 v 11 on full pitch with 20 mins each way

12:00am U12 fixture 11 v 11 on full pitch with 25 mins each way

1:00pm U13 fixture 11 v 11 on full pitch with 30 mins each way

2:15pm U14 fixture 11 v 11 on full pitch with 35 mins each way

3:30pm U15 fixture 11 v 11 on full pitch with 35 mins each way

4:45pm Finish

Arrangements for Pre Season Training & induction
Will commence on Friday 16th July 2010. Details of pre season training arrangement will be provided by letter.

Coaching and Training Arrangements
Matthew Moss High School, Matthew Moss Lane, Rochdale, OL11 3LU at the following times:

Friday 7th May Only 5:00pm – 6:15pm Present U9/U10
6:15pm – 7:30pm Present U11

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLUB HAS BEEN REQUESTED BY MATTHEW MOSS HIGH SCHOOL TO ENSURE THAT PARENTS AND PLAYERS DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 4:45PM ON A FRIDAY EVENING. THE SCHOOL USE THE ASTROTURF UP TO THIS TIME MOST WEEKS AND WISH TO AVOID ANY ISSUES RELATING TO CHILD PROTECTION, WHICH MAY ARISE IF PARENTS ARRIVE ANY EARLIER.

Centre of Excellence End of Season Information
With reference to the above, I would be grateful if you would kindly note the following:

• Last official game this season for the U9/U10/U11/U12/U13/U14/U15 squads is on Sunday 9th May 2010.
• Friday 7th May 2010 fitness testing at Matthew Moss High School commencing at 5pm prompt for next season’s U13/U14/U15/U16 squads who will still be with the Club for season 2010/11.
• There will be an out of season training programme provided for next season’s U9/U10/U11/U12/U13/U14 squads who will still be with the Club for season 2010/11.
• There will be an out of season training programme for next season’s U15/U16 squads who will still be with the Club for season 2010/11. The details will be provided in a separate letter.

















Injuries

ALL PLAYERS must report injuries to their respective coaches to enable them to evaluate squad availability for the fixtures taking place each Sunday morning.

Treatment and Assessment sessions will be held at the Soccer Factory each Tuesday evening from 6pm – 7:30pm and ALL the coaches are aware of this arrangement.

Assessment and Professional Rehabilitation will take place each Friday evening at Matthew Moss High School, at the allotted times, for the specific age group listed below:

5:00PM – 6:15PM U9/U10/U11
6:15PM – 7:30PM U12/U13/U14
7:30PM – 9:15PM U15/U16

Please see the youth website for initial treatment of mainly soft tissue injuries as the first 24-48 hours are so important.

Reporting Absences from Training or Matches
At the request of the Parents Association, the club has been asked to provide a tear off slip to enable you to inform any of the coaching staff if your son will unable to attend a training session or a match for any reason.
