Greater Manchester V Suffolk English Schools Football Association Under 16 County Trophy Final Greater Manchester and Suffolk took part in the English Schools Football Association Trophy Final at the Hillsborough Stadium, home of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, on Wednesday 12th May 2010. I would like to congratulate everyone who took part in the final, particularly the three boys from Rochdale AFC. The players from Rochdale have all achieved scholarships with the club and have come through our own Centre of Excellence Programme. Jay Mehmet, Godwin Abadaki and Jordan (Wale) Fagbola all had a big part to play in the game on the day. Jay Mehmet scored a memorable “Hatrick”, Godwin Abadaki also got his name on the score sheet and Jordan (Wale) Fagbola was named Man of the Match.
